Lately in Asheville, there seems to be smoke everywhere due to wild fires. Some mornings, the air seems fine and I've run. Other mornings however, it's like you've stuck your face in a wood fire chimney.
I know that some of you are addicted to mileage. I was once there myself, but I assure you, running in smoky air is not recommended. On days like we've been having in Asheville, go to the gym and run and the treadmill, or better yet, do some cross training like swimming in the lap pool. Your lungs will thank you!
