Free Couch to 5K Running Plan


That's right, it's a free couch to 5K running plan. If you've ever thought about running a 5K, now is the time.  I am offering a free 6 week plan to get you off your butt and onto the roads.

Why a 5K?  


A 5K is one of the more popular running distances. It's easy enough to build up to and there are plenty to choose from.  It's a great goal for a first time runner as well as former runners like myself, trying to get back into the sport.

Why Running?


So you may be asking yourself, why running?  Why not another sport?  Honestly, any physical activity would be great.  I love swimming, but I don't have a pool.  Public pools are full of kids and therefore not good for lap swimming.  The pool at my gym is literally two lanes, and if anyone else is there, you have to share lanes.  Tennis is a lot of fun, but it's a very expensive sport. You constantly have to buy tennis balls,  the clothing is overpriced and don't even get me started on the cost of a racket and the stringing.

Running on the other hand is very affordable.  There are very affordable running shoes and you can wear any old pair of shorts and t-shirt and you are ready to hit the trails!

Running is also a great way to drop unwanted pounds or lift your spirits. If you ever feel down, stressed or angry, a run is a great way to shake it off.  Running releases endorphines, which is your body's natural feel good chemicals.  I'm sure you've heard people talk about the "runner's high"?  Well, it's a real thing.
